The Washington National Guard’s Counterdrug Task Force conducts a full spectrum campaign in the fight against illicit drugs and transnational threats to our state.

Established in 1988 by Congress in 32 USC 112, the CDTF provides support to law enforcement and community based Counterdrug operations at all levels to anticipate, deter, and defeat threats posed by illegal drugs.

The Washington National Guard has always had a special relationship with our communities and our CDTF is an extension of that. We believe that a drug-free Washington is in everyone’s best interest and we are determined to prevent illegal drugs from destroying our families and communities.
