The Joint Force Headquarters of the Washington Military Department (including the Washington Air and Army National Guard and the Washington Emergency Management Division) has sponsored a multi-year homeland security exercise series starting in May of 2006 and running each year through May of 2009. The exercises will focus on interagency coordination and support, and will combine full-scale exercises at the local level with reporting through city and county operations centers to the State Emergency Operations Center at Camp Murray. We are the 133d Army Band based out of Camp Murray in Tacoma, WA. The 133d Army Band performs for both military and public events, and as the only band for the Washington Army National Guard, we stay in high demand. Recently we've performed at the opening ceremony for the 2004 Washington State Legislative Session, the Adjutant General's Militia Ball, Seahawk Stadium, Seattle Mariners, Seattle Sounders, and the Western Washington State Fair in Puyallup. Annually, the 133d does a concert tour in community parks across Washington. We have also traveled overseas to perform for foreign dignitaries.
